    One things for sure...

...we are BY FAR fitter than Arsenal, the last 5/10 mins their players were fooked! And we almost took advantage of it but Kuyt was in about 10 minds as to what to do. Fair play to the lad today btw, he defended very well...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

We were fitter I agree. Arsenal dropped their levels of pressure and this must have been Rafa's brilliant tactics coming to fruition. Let Arsenal have the ball and work it around and let them run run run and we can hit them on the break. I don't expect Arsenal to be 100% on Saturday and certainly not on Tuesday.

it surprised me as they made us run around like mad dogs at anfield.

I foresee 2 much weakened sides on saturday - certainly our front 2 should be nowhere near that fixture. time for crouch and the crow to do some of the work. At worst wed be 2 points ahead of the blueshyte: If we cant hold that lead over the last 5 games we dont desrve the champions league

I think the Arse will put out close to their strongest team on saturday with a view to get 2 or 3 up early doors then sub the big boys. What id like is for us to put out a completely different but still strong team and get to 60 at 0-0 then step it up a bit and crouch will score the winner. Just really **** them up though, make it extremely physical and get the cunts tired.

I wasn't surprised by Arse's fitness. The Bolton game physically and emotionally drained the life juice out of players like Fabregas and Clichy. I was at Arsenal and Clichy only made one overlapping run, after which he stood still on one spot for 5 mins as he was f*cked. Adebayour and Hleb are fit as fiddles though, they never stopped running.

Kuyt and less so Carra made sure that Clichy was not in a position to attack us.

its easy to say that when we sit back for what, 70 mins? tacticaly or not, it doesnt mean we're fitter, just playing it tighter.

i do think that arsenal are now ****ed however and its a herculean effort required to win it. they still have to fight for the game on saturday so they will also be tired. we need the same game play as last night to tire them out further. if they beat us 1,2-0 so what. if we nick a draw even better. the key thing will be to tire them out. they'll be knackered at anfield.

defending improved last night which is good to see after the man u farce. come on reds
