I thought he did well but he'll have to work on his right foot if he wants to make it to be a class CM...only ever wanted to use his left and he could get caught out too often playing that way playing against good oppo week in week out.

What's so funny about that? I cant think of a class CM who is so one footed - Gerrard, Scholes, Lampard, Fabregas all obviously have a preferred foot but their weaker side is above average. You need it in the modern game, especially in the Prem because of the pace of the game and it can help you get out of trouble when under pressure - he just looked so reluctant to touch the ball with his weak foot and tried to turn his way out of pressure on his left

Well stop being such a disruptive element to the forum then. I'm not the only one who has mentioned it, so you are obviously doing something to catch peoples eye as a potential WUM.Originally posted by Mike Hunt
The mantra of the internet coward who must control all the opinions.
I've got better things to do that wind people up. And if I was going to wind someone up I'd choose a more interesting subject.
Oh and it's ironic calling someone an internet coward - on the internet

That Emmanuel Petit was crap wasn't he. Not to mention Maradonna.
What are you on about Kermit?
It's obvious he's saying the lad needs to work on his weaker foot. He is not questioning the ability of any player who happens to be left footed."My commitment to Liverpool is 100 per cent. I would die for that Liverpool shirt. I think the club loves me and I feel the same, no matter what the situation." - Pepe Reina, Nov '09.

Who said anything about relying heavily on it - he never used it even when he should! Plus he looked off the pace and unfit at times but potential is definitely there.Originally posted by Mike HuntGet a grip. When was the last time you saw Fabregas or Scholes rely heavily on on their left side?

Oh by the way - nice references to players of the modern game

So saying a player needs to improve the use of one of their feet is dirge now?Originally posted by Mike HuntPointless trying to reason with you as you're just clueless about the game. Your statement was the biggest load of idiotic dirge I've ever read.
Do you really think players don't work on improving their weaker foot in training?

I certainly don't agree with the unfit and off the pace comment but what do you want when you post in the way you have? Reasoned argument backed with evidence to support or just someone to pull you up as being a rude cunt?
You're only going to get one of the above when you post in such a purposely provocative manner.
