What's so funny about that? I cant think of a class CM who is so one footed - Gerrard, Scholes, Lampard, Fabregas all obviously have a preferred foot but their weaker side is above average. You need it in the modern game, especially in the Prem because of the pace of the game and it can help you get out of trouble when under pressure - he just looked so reluctant to touch the ball with his weak foot and tried to turn his way out of pressure on his left

Who said anything about relying heavily on it - he never used it even when he should! Plus he looked off the pace and unfit at times but potential is definitely there.
