Oh and Nic, you seem to completely disregard any statistics which back up Reina as an excellent keeper. If we point you in the direction of his clean sheet record you just say that is down to the defence. Well does that mean that the guy who's record he beat - Clemence - was also an overrated keeper who had a really good defence in front of him to make him look better than he was?

The reason why you are being insulted Nic is because of your obvious delight with being able to post a "told you so" type message in this thread as soon as the goal went in - like that was all that mattered to you at the time.

FTR I think Reina could have done better for the goal, but Diaby didn't have hit it hard, and whilst Reina could have guarded the near post better, he'd have to have had super human reaction speeds to stop it from the position he was in.

And as for none of us being able to criticise our own players, I notice in the Alonso thread which is criticising him, you pop up with "Alonso = god" so are you denying his (current) failings then?

so I ask where in this thread for the purpose of the type of responses BFG was giving me, and you come up with a quote from another thread that BFG wasn't even in so had absolutely no basis. Pretty typical.

And that quote was in the heat of the moment, and he isn't "That" good anyway so the only word I shouldn't have used was "average" as he's slightly better than that. Haha. So ****ing petty it's untrue.

I think you'll find that it's them grinding the axe as you put it, trying to make me change my mind as nothing less that "world class" will do. It's my opinion they won't except, not the other way around.

What Reece has posted basically shows that you are contradicting yourself though doesn't it wonderwoman? Just because I haven't posted in that particular thread doesn't mean I haven't read it and many others where you bash our players and then seem to take delight in telling us all how right you are when you think they've made a mistake.

What are you harping on about. It's a perfectly reasonable reference. I'm under the impression you put the "in this thread" part in because you are aware that you may be contradicting yourself but still want to seen as being 'right' in everything you say.
