    Not the final yet.

On a serious note the Harry of dol would be devastating in this new formation on either wing.
    Forwards.......

No not yet it's only the quarter final, he'll be ready for the final though.

This is the formation Rafa has always wanted i believe.

For some knobs to suggest he stumbled across it is absolutely ludicrous.

I don't think Babel will do much against the constant double marking of Eboue and Toure. So I think playing Torres , Gerrard and kuyt behind Crouch will be much more effective against Arsenal.

Torres has plenty of experience playing behind another striker, Stevie and Crouch have a good understanding and so we will have more of a goal threat.

Bring Babel on for the last 20 minutes or so as the Arse players are tiring after 3 hard games within 7 days, then he will be more destructive with his pace.
I voted no, but I think I've changed my mind.

I'd also like to see Crouch start up top alongside Torres, but I can't see Rafa doing it!

Rafa'll go with his tried and trusted system of Torres up top with Stevie, Kuyt and Babel behind him again. Crouch will come on though at some point and make an impact for us I'm sure.

I'd be tempted to play Crouch up top with Torres off him in the Gerrrard and role and move Gerrard into the right wing role
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I said yes and I think we should use this formation. I think torres would be a greater challenge to Toure instead of Babel and would be excellent in supporting Crouch, he had a very good game the other day and Benitez did say clearly after the game on Saturday we will use two strikers in games.

You do realize that in that formation Torres would be required to track back and provide cover for Arbeloa. That would completely defeat the point of having Torres. You'll never see Torres in that position in a 4231.

Crouch has caused the Arse CBs no end of problems the last two times he played against them. I'd start him up front with Torres in a 4-4-2 formation with Babel and Gerrard on the wings.

I know this means altering a successful formation but I think it would pay dividends in this match.

Against Eboue. I think we'd cope.

I say keep our formation the way it is, and keep the team unchanged from the 1st leg.

Crouch to come on as a sub to scare them later in the game.

                            I`d start Crouch in a 4-4-2 and revert to a 4-3-2-1 if we`re losing after 60 minutes.
