    If we buy a right-back....

    ....and agger gets fit we'll have 4 central defenders. granted hyypia will be happy to warm the bench, i dont see carra feeling anywhere near at all the same.


    will skrtel be ready to play week-in-week-out next year or will he play from the bench too?

      We play enough games and will go through enough injuries that all 4 will see action.

      It will be interesting to see who Rafa prefers in the big games if all 4 are fit, though.

          I think Skittles still has a lot to learn, so first choice would be CarrAgger, but Jamie does seem to be ageing so by the end of next season we might have an all new CB pairing...

              We need 4 CB's. Carragher will still play regularly, it just means Sami will take more of a back seat and not play so much. Which is fine. We often play 2 games a week so you have to expect those 3 of Skrtle, Agger and Carragher to get rotated. Which is only beneficial to us. We will hopefully then have good compitition and the ability to rest 1 here and there

                  just shows at last we have decent cover. CB s get boked all the time as strikers are so quick and defenders mis time tackles. therefore suspensions are possible. with all three fit for the season id expect them to play 20 odd games a piece.

                  carragher is no way finished. maybe another 2-3 seasons at the top. carra (our true captain)

                    Carra is the organiser though isn't he, so who will do that job when he is rotated out? I don't think Skrtle has it in him (at least not yet), but does Agger?

                      I think Skrtel and Agger have the qualities to forge a Ferdinand/Vidic type partnership over the coming years.

                      Agger has the ball playing skills and composure of Gimp Face and Skrtel seems to be cut from the same rugged no nonsense mould as Vidic.

                      Obviously Carra still has a huge amount to offer but long term these two could form an outstanding alliance.

                      Don't forget we'll have Jack Hobbs back next season too. I quite liked what I saw of him this season - not sure how many games he'll get with the other four in front of him though.

                        well this season we struggled with just 2 cb's for a long time, if we had 4 fit cb's then we'd be ok.

                          carra will play most games but he needs to be rested from time to time he is no spring chicken anymore plus you never know with injuries these days
                          Players we should be signing:
                          Lallana, Lovren, Moreno, Vorm, Shaqiri , Memphis Depay and Adele Ali
                          Players who should be going
                          Reina, Brad Jones, Coates, Kelly, Agger, Lucas, Assaidi, Suso, Borini, Aspas

                            Will Agger ever play for us again???

                            Are`nt there rumours that he`s enjoying himself too much(Chemically) while injured???
