    Ticket Prices

Just been reading about who much prices are going to go up at the toilet for next season (about 30% they say). The Yanks are no doubt going to have to similarly rapidly escalate prices at Anfield in the near future to start to cover the various financial deals and thats where I think we're screwed. Because of the demand for tickets they can basically charge what they want (to a point). Since i've had my kids I don't get up that often and if the tickets get even more expensive it's going to be completely prohibitive if I want to bring my boys.

tbh, the club needs a higher income, regardless of who the owner is.

I think price rises are inevitable, as we need to compete in the transfer market, and pay for a stadium (as some well publicised debts).
    Oh I don't know.

I got a free United v Liverpool program when I was at OT the other week - I think the majority of tickets for any game are £51 now. (I might be wrong)

I think the cheapest was £39.

        £51 vs £32.

That's a big difference. I agree that currently tickets are sold at less than their market worth, but i wouldn't be happy about paying £51 for a ticket.

£35 - £40 is about right from me.

If it brings success it won't be an issue.
Even Abramovich's lot charge a small fortune though. I disagree about it not being an issue as long as there is success. If you suddenly can't go regularly any more then us winning trophies isn't going to change that fact.
