Torres has played in that position last season for Atleti. It also positions Torres away from Arsenals very pacey centre backs.

It's possible that Gerrard's on the right and Kuyt's on the left, but I doubt Rafa can move Gerrard from the middle at the moment.

Torres has played on the wings at Atletico so it could be the same formation with Torres on the left and Kuyt on the right forming 4-3-3- when we attack. Or Kuyt on the left in a 4-4-2 with Torres and Crouch uptop. Or Kuyt on the left with Torres in the middle behind Crouch in a 4-2-3-1......I'm

Makes more sense. Alot more solid than Torres or Babel on the wing. Torres pace, Crouch holding the ball up.
