Why are we playing Crouch?

I’m not having a go at him but why have we changed our formation that has mostly been working to accommodate him?

This formation is not working in the slightest. We're getting over-run in midfield, and any possible threat from Crouch is completely nullified by our lack of good possession in their half.

We need something to change pretty sharpish.

From a throw Carra's cross is a little light, headed up, eventually comes to Aurelio but he gets it all wrong.

Our passing is dreadful, I don't know where Gerrard is supposed to be playing but he looks like he is not interested in playing left wing

We need to get gerrard centrally whatever way we can.

If that means taking off crouch even this early and reverting back to way we've played recently so be it.

Or we need to take alonso off and put stevie in centre beside masher and leave crouchy on.

Either way it really feels like it needs changing.
Arsenal are looking VERY dangerous for me either way, whether we get an equaliser or not.
