To be fair, Babel has probably had 5 x the game time.

According to Yahoo! Sport, including League and European Cup games...
      Walcott: 4 goals, 29 games
      Babel: 8 goals, 38 games

Far more of Walcotts appearances will have been coming off the banch thogh. It would be interesting to know minutes on pitch vs goals. Don't get me wrong, Babels stats will be better but not by the margin that El_Jectifico implied.

babel as has relatively poor ball control/composure/unpredictability. This can all be improved however and if he does, he'll be world class and better (more direct) than henry. really really hope he can make that progress and looking forward to the day he does.

I think his control is a lot beter than people think actually. Thing is he looks a bit awkward so it looks like he's all over the shop but he's not really.

                    Sure

I didn't really mean to imply I agreed with him, I think you were both exaggerating a fair bit. Let's not forget Babel has come off the bench a fair bit too. If anything though he seems to have scored more goals because of it!

As for the initial question, I think they are pretty comparable talents and it'd be a stab in the dark for me to say which one will go on to be the better player. Walcott is obviously younger but Babel has had a lot more to adjust to than him, not just in terms of being accustomed to a different country and league, but in terms of fitting into the team dynamic.

i would still like to have both.

I could ask the question Ronaldo or Torres?

I doubt that many (on here) would choose the diving nancy boy over torres.

Considering most want to be the next Mrs. Torres I'd doubt it

i was just using that as an example of why the wallcot babbel comparison isnt as simple as was mentioned.

Not so much 'edge of seat' signing as 'Always sat down' signing.
                              Really?

Babel. There is a reason that Babel has played more games than Walcott.

Wenger himself has admitted that Walcott has flattered to decieve so far. I think both will become good players though. Both have pace which in the modern day game makes you at least half decent.
                                Forwards.......
