    Genuinly was it handball...

Harping on from the other genuinly thread.
....just before the Arse scored their 1st goal?
Was it Hleb who brought the ball down, before he passed it out wide, and did so with his shoulder/upper arm?

Would have been harsh to give it as handball IMO. Was half on the chest half on the upper arm/shoulder.

So no, I don't think so.

It was Flamini who brought the ball down.

I don't think we can complain about decisions after the first leg.

i won't complain but if Arsene is denying a blatent pen then I will use that to shut him up.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Why not give a **** about the pen too, then?

                Allright then.
Didn't bother reading through all of the other thread, so didn't really know your stance on it, but it seems to bother ppl since it is quite large now.

Pretty pointless debating about 'could have beens'. We should have beaten United last season but didn't. The result is the one that counts. Let the Arse wallow in self pity.

                      I suppose they’re talking points but I can’t imagine any Red giving a ****!

The first talking point as I walked in the office this morning was the Babel penalty decision but as I said, the Mancs here reckon it was a stick-on pen.

Let Wenger bleat about decisions while we bask in the glory!!

And bad decisions can go either way in any match. We've got that special something with the CL, making us virtually unbeatable in two legged matches. Chelsea are warned ... once again.

Definite handball and yellow card. I feel a great sense of injustice.
