      the man is unstopable
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Liverpool 4 Arsenal 2: That was the best night ever - Fernando Torres

Apr 9 2008 EXCLUSIVE by Tony Barrett, Liverpool Echo

FERNANDO TORRES today described how the magic of Anfield on a European night gave him the greatest moment of his career so far.

The Spanish striker was left enraptured by a magnificent Liverpool performance which saw them come back from losing positions twice to knock Arsenal out of the Champions League.

The Reds will now face Chelsea at the semi-final stage for the third time in just four years after defeating the Gunners 4-2 thanks to goals from Sami Hyypia, Torres, Steven Gerrard and Ryan Babel.

Torres took his tally to the season to 29 with a magnificent second half strike which brought Anfield to its feet.

And the 24-year-old made no attempt to hide his delight at being a part of such a wonderful night in Liverpool’s illustrious European history.

He said: “It was special for all of us because of the work that we put in.

“To score four goals against a very good side is a good achievement for us and we are all very proud.

“It was the biggest night of my career and I came to Liverpool for nights like this.

“It is unbelievable – the high tempo of both teams, the fans, everything.

“It was a great game for Liverpool and for Arsenal but the most important thing for us is that we are now in the semi-finals.”

Torres admitted that when Arsenal made it 2-2 to give them the lead on away goals with just over five minutes left on the clock he thought Liverpool were heading out of the competition.

“Yes, I thought it was finished. There were only a few minutes left but with the magic of Anfield the players were able to score two more goals.

“Liverpool is special. It is a special team, with special fans and a special city and today I am very happy to live in this city and to play for this club.”

Liverpool’s 5-3 aggregate win sets up another tantalising clash with Chelsea in the next round and Torres is expecting that tie to be every bit as tough.

“We know that Chelsea are also a very good team but we will see if we can make it to the final.

“The English teams are the strongest at the moment so we know it will be difficult.

“We now have two games against Chelsea and our target is to finish in the top four in the Premiership and to win the Champions League.”

It would be the debut season of the decade by far - if it isen't already...

Think of the other great players in the premiership, Drogba, Ronaldo, Fabregas etc. have all taken a couple of season to make their mark - incredible what torres has achieved so far in one season... Can't think of a player brought in that have made a bigger impact immediatly. How did horseface do in his first season? he scored some 20 odd goals, which perhaps is the closest to el nino...

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
