Who couldn't love him? All the fans of other clubs I know are a) Scared of him, and b) think he's a top bloke.

He always scores in front of the Kop, so that's why when we Sami scored, I said one more from Nino and games ours. I didn't factor in the Ade, pen Babel goals but no ones perfect. Well except El Nino

If Torres goes on to have a decisive impact in the semi and the Final, and then carries his form over to the European Championships (and I see no reason why he shouldn't), he'd have to be in with a shout of the European / World Player of the Year gongs at the end of the season.

Ronaldo and Ferguson would be crying like hungry orphans.

                Same here, in the main.

There is one exception….and he, of course, is a Bluenose. I don’t actually know the fella – he works with my missus – but he’s always telling her how much he “hates that cunt Torres”, and it’s gone into overdrive since his derby goal. The wife listens to me when it comes to football and basically plagiarises everything I say on the subject. So she says to him “what is there to hate about him? He’s humble and a great player – is it because he’s brilliant, he scores lots of goals and scored against you? i.e. you’re bitter?”

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I have a feeling it was around 25/26 - i'msure when torres scored the his 25/26 they said he had equalled RVN's record for most scored by a foreigner in his debut season.

certainly for a foreigner unsure if it is the case overall (ie someone english may have scored more in there debut season???)

                            we could become torrisians????
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
