Based upon what? Its like everything else that going on with the ownership malarky, its a combination of unsubstaciated rumours and peoples perception of the situation

          **** all + **** all = **** all believe it or not

Exactly. They wouldn't sack Rafa if he won the Euro Cup.

I've said all along that Rafa deserves a season with serious cash to spend. But continuity starts at the very top and a stable board is more important than a stable manager.

Only a few months ago every one wanted rid of Rafa, but I guess that's football.
            Forwards.......

DIC means a new stadium and not a lot of debts.

Rafa is a fantastic manager but the new stadium and long term financial stability is worth a lot more.

We simply won't be able to challenge for the title in the next four, five years or so, probably even longer time than that, if Hicks stay even if Rafa is the manager. That is another reason.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If Hicks and Rafa are still here next season and we make 2 quality forward signings we will be challenging nextyear never mind in 5 years time.

How the feck will Hicks be able to afford that on his own?

Two quality forward signings would cost something like £50m and then he would also need to splash out on a right wing back and one or two wingers.

We are talking about something like £100m in transfer money.

The poll never said 'And money'. you have to have faith, really believe that Hicks will give Rafa the money is the point, (especially if your voting for Hicks to stay), & to give that money without ruining the club by giving what it cannot afford, debt debt & more debt, untill in the end the club can't pay it.

                              This is so stupid.

                              Close this poll someone

I dont think for 1 moment that Rafa would happily continue under the leadership of either of the Yanks. He is doing so only because he has to

And i would think that DIC would be happy to keep Rafa because there is no coach in the world who could do a better job

Disagree with the title of the thread totally. This is the simplest poll to answer I've ever seen. I'd rather sell Gerrard, Torres, Mascherano and get shut of Benitez rather than have that greedy,Texan **** here for any longer than absolutely necessary .
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.
