DIC means a new stadium and not a lot of debts.

Rafa is a fantastic manager but the new stadium and long term financial stability is worth a lot more.

We simply won't be able to challenge for the title in the next four, five years or so, probably even longer time than that, if Hicks stay even if Rafa is the manager. That is another reason.

You have no idea what DIC will do. For all you know they could come as the big hero rescuers and decide Groundshare is the way forward.


We do not know what DIC intentions are!

However I do believe they would be good owners just because I believe we would be on sure financial footing.

I dont think for 1 moment that Rafa would happily continue under the leadership of either of the Yanks. He is doing so only because he has to

The thing is, Rafa is desperate to stay, he loves it here and he loves the fans who stick with him no matter what. He won't get that anywhere else.

And i would think that DIC would be happy to keep Rafa because there is no coach in the world who could do a better job

I completely agree, however I'm not that certain Rafa's position will be completely safe with DIC. There's also the option of GG keeping his 50% stake, and in this case Rafa's position will definitely be in danger. But even if it's 100% DIC, you never know what they might do. Just look back at the fans' reaction to G&H coming in and how it's changed in less than a year.
