Isn't Keatings the one who is always drooling over Barcelona and Real Madrid like there are only two teams in Spain?
As for his unbridled enthusiasm for Beckham...
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I'm probably the only one, but I like Andy Gray. I know he slags us off sometimes, but he does that to everybody - his "thing" being the most informed pundit, so he has to be more critical and more incisive than everyone else. I'm sure all other supporters think he slags their team off most too. Ya beauteh!
The only commentary that annoys me is the ITV line-ups.
I'm usually either concentrating on the match (if it's LFC), or to pissed to notice/care though.
It would be great if there was an option for fan noise only. But if there was such an option I bet half the moaning gits would still listen to the commentary - and then complain endlessly about it
...
Don't take life too seriously or you'll never get out alive.
I like Gerry Armstrong (co-commentator, I know) who does La Liga on Sky. He seems to have an idea of what he is yapping about.
Good shout.
