I came across this nugget when looking for Jon Lord related videos in the wake of his recent death. Bernie Marsden of the pre-hairspray version of Whitesnake proudly sporting a Liverpool shirt in this video. Gets a nice close up around the 1:20 mark. He's no relation of Gerry, as far as I know.

I bet there hasn't been a Tour de France winner sporting sideburns since the 70s glory days of Eddy Merckx, Bernard Thevenet and the like. Although, I'm pretty sure that Beryl Burton never sported sideburns.
