When it comes to Liverpool he's a turd, I'll not deny that, so when I say I'm gaining more respect for him I didn't have much to start with. I do like his defence of the game in Oz though.
I seem to recall that Craig Foster is/was actually a Liverpool fan. I think he became disillusioned with the club during Rafa's reign. He certainly has a purists view of the game.

Sorry - back on topic.... Theres a twitter account for LFC supporters from Oz & NZ. You could throw questions to Robbie Farah on there. He reckons that Peter Sterling is a big LFC fan as well.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Haha, that would be pretty cool if it's true. Sterlo is a champ!
On the Ning Nang Nong
Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
There's a Nong Nang Ning
Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
On the Nong Ning Nang
All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
So it's Ning Nang Nong!
Cows go Bong!
Nong Nang Ning!
Trees go Ping!
Nong Ning Nang!
The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,
Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!

I've just tweeted him for confirmation. Watch this space!
