Thanjk you.

My son went to the match yesterday with some blokes from the Sky team. They said after Tuesdays match Rafa asked Wenger to join him for a drink. Wenger refused. Classless git
wnger would rather play great football and loose than play ugly and win imo.
his team, as great a football they play, dont know how to grind out a win.
They only play GREAT football if you define great football as short fast passing. To me great football is much more than that.
Adapting to the opposition. Playing long when you need to. Great mental strength. Never giving up. Intimidating when you need to. 10 behind the ball when you need to. Switching positions and tactics as necessary to get an advantage. Great leadership.
All that and more makes a GREAT football team (see previous Liverpool teams for proof). Arsenal can check hardly any of those boxes, so deserve what they have got (i.e. **** All).
Arsenal are pretty (my precious) and nothing more!
they do play great football, much better than Man U, their one-touch pass and move footy is awesome at times. But until they get over their mental fragility, and get a clinical finisher, they'll never be a great team.
They are all style and no substance, can do it against the **** teams but not against the big boys. Wenger should have bought reinforcements in January, but didnt and it cost him. He went into the season not trusting his first choice keeper and with a **** second choice and was found out. Flamani hahaha, Adebayor haha Sendros hahaha Eboue hahaha hey can all just **** off.

See I think it cuts deeper than that. I think Wenger thinks that if he can create a team in his own image that he will win. His narcisism however blinds him to the fact that mentality, long balls, etc are as important as short fast passes.
Playing devils advocate here ok? But are we their Rivals for the premierleague. We have not won it or even seriously competed to win it in the time that wenger has been in charge at arsenal. Only United and Chelsea have along with Arsenal. It is up to us to compete and earn that repect.
In fairness we have finished above them for the past two seasons - 15 points above in one of them - so this is the first season for a few years they've been more of a serious challenger than us

Very good points mate - that is why I am so proud of our lads for the way they play in Europe.
I mean, what couldve been more beautiful than Istanbul? Had we player Brazil-style & won 8-0, it wouldnt have been as good...

Do you think Wenger has the right leadership skills? All of his succesful teams have had a great captain who were able to change games and inspire the players round them. With Gallas and Henry he has two people who dont really seem the proper captain type players, there doesnt seem to be anyone else in the team to provide leadership.
All to often since Viera left the players heads have dropped and Wenger hasnt been able to pick them up or the players themselves have the confidence to get it going again. They look great when things are going there way but once it changes it seems to take a long time for them to get going again.

They crumble in adversity, I think you're right a "real" captain would help guard against that, but even so, they don't have a lot of experience and that contributes to their downfall as much as the leadership issue. IMO.
