I wont be watching the Hicks interview, he's not getting a minute of my time. Every time i see him now it just makes me so angry. The fact he is supposed to be using a letter he received from a fan like a prop, i can see it now, his promises, followed by his character assassinations.

The thing is, i expect he will say that he would have started the stadium but for GG/Parry/Moores & that they are holding it up, then i imagine he will say something like he wants to release a huge sum of money (debt) to Rafa for players, but that the terrible trio wont let him.

Those are the things i expect him to say, most likely along with a prediction of doom & misfortune for the club if fans don't back him, if the board don't back him.

But to me, if he said things like this in the interview, & even if they were true, i would be quite happy for this to be the case, because i know the reason behind it would be to force Hicks to sell up. For him to be doing all this, hopefully means he is feeling the squeeze.

I would love to think this was his last throw of the dice, but i doubt it, some court action is inevitable imo, it's a huge pity he wont just go, & leave the club alone.

Instead we have to put up with him touting the club round all & sundry, & going on sky tv, in Hillsborough week of all weeks, to throw dirt in the faces of fellow board members, who happen not to want to buy into his debt ridden dangerous vision for the future.

I think you've got a point there Fredo.

The Hicks' could be taking encouragement from the interaction with the fans and planning their next PR move according to the first-hand accounts of how the fans feel.

Not only that but for me, direct engagement with the Hicks' and Hick's publicity whoring are flip-sides of the same dime that we have grown to hate so much.

I'd expect him to further back up his claims regarding the Klinsmann affair, and I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped another bomb into the mix.

Well, it's a recorded interview so it's part of his plan to get rid of Parry. He will probably spin it even more and say that we have some "done" deals with Rafa plus a couple of players but that Gillett and Parry is stopping it from going through but not mention how we will pay for the players.

Ok this isnt related to the SSN exclusive but it is related to Hicks.

I heard on the Century sport show last night that apparently some guy sent a petition to Hicks; Hicks then phoned the guy up to speak to him about his views and plans for the club.
