Either that or it was just ****-stirring paper talk from sources determined to add yet more fuel to the hate-hicks campaign??

Ffs. The fact he's even on sky is infuriating, he's acting like he already has control, like he was the one who wanted to buy us first, when in fact it was Gillette who did all the chasing. Bloody hell we need this pig to be gone, why can't he just drop dead, SERIOUSLY.

Before anyone says that's harsh, it's how i feel, i have had it with the **** ****, so much so that yes, i am even wishing him death. Yes i know it's sad, but he's had a good longish life, & i reckon the world would be a better place, LFC certainly would be.

..And I would say to you, get used to the idea because at the moment that is where the club is heading (regards Hicks as sole owner).

I hope he is just putting together 2+2 as it's hardly sticking your neck out saying that.

ok well this was my original post to him...don't go ape**** when you see what i've put about rafa, as I knew this would be the only way I would draw Balague into a response!

              The Post-

Guillem,I hope Rafa is aware that he is playing with fire if he is coming down on Tom Hicks' side. I am very disappointed in you also Guillem, to say that would Tom Hicks really be all that bad as sole owner of the club. Oh my God I can't believe that would even enter your mind...are you aware how much debt he has placed on this club and how much of a fool he is for making this club into a laughing stock with his weekly, badly-timed and rash statements? He is a brash Texan businessman who is wanting to bleed the club dry; if he cared in the slightest about this club then he'd sell to the DIC! As for Rafa, why is it that he is so bothered about Parry's involvement in Klinsmann talks, when it was revealed this week that there was a second meeting with Klinsmann at HICKS' holiday home? Also, Parry, as Chief Executive, would have been there on the orders of BOTH Gillett and Hicks. I smell a rat, Hicks/Rafa are starting their slur campaign against Parry to get him out of the way, so Hicks can get his own YES man, Ian Ayre, onto the board. Rafa is only looking out for himself, surely he must realise that under Hicks the club will be driven under...but then again maybe it's because he knows he is safer in a job under Hicks than under the DIC. Very shameful and disappointing.

              Balague's reply:

David, obviously you didn’t get my point. Or maybe I was not clear enough. I was putting out there a different perception of the situation for people to think about. I wonder if all the negative stories about Hicks come from a manipulation of the facts or of the characters involved with the clear intention of misinforming. It has been happening from day one. Everybody is telling stories about everybody else that leaves rivals in a very poor light. You say that Tom Hicks as a sole owner of the club would be a disaster, but you don’t know because he is not a sole owner of the club. I don’t know either and I’m not sure with him in charge things would improve that much. I do think though it is a better solution that what we have now. And I would say to you, get used to the idea because at the moment that is where the club is heading.

I think he doesn't know much more than us. Everyone could have answered that.

I'm very worried, It's just the way it's all heading, Hicks very confident, asking for Parry to be sacked, doing a sky interview to put his vision (of hell) across, Dic publicly backing off, yes with a parting 'we would love to one day own lfc' but none the less declaring their intent to now stop chasing the club.

On top of this the worst realisation for me, it is, hope i'm wrong, that Rafa could possibly be Hicks man, he will know he will be judged by results/success more with DIC, Hicks is more likely to let things tick over so long as he can skim his pound of flesh from the club.

No it's not coming to the Head i expected when it all got moving a few weeks back, when we were hearing of Hicks in Dubai, Stavely, etc, i thought now it's finally going to end, & with the right result, Dic to me now seem a distant memory, a lost chance, the kind of which we may never see again if Hicks gets his way.

I fear the worst case scenario too (Hicks as sole owner,) but I was commenting on what Balague has said in a an e-mail to a stranger.

It's a fair point really, compared to a split between shareholders, a disfunctional board a civil car, sole ownership by Hicks would be a better situation.

whats worse, hicks as sole owner with maybe empty promises of debt free success or the continual mud slinging that is dragging our club in to a media laughing stock mire?

tough choice, and thanks parry/moores for it, but i choose sole ownership and NO MORE FIGHTING thanks.

the whole mess is a ****ing disgrace but let tom have his day (as they will be numbered) and get back to business.
