Nothing new in the inteview. Everything reeks of spin. I think the PR machine are trying to portray him as misunderstood and hard done by. As expected he blamed Gillette on the klinsmann episode. Said he had been in contact wih him for a long time and arranged the meeting. He said Parry was there. Wants to offer Rafa a new contract. Wants to but Gillettes shares. Understands the fans reaction but wants to set the record straight. Blames Parry for the clubs u nderperformance off the pitch etc etc I will try post a link to the interview later

He knows that his only chance to stay on is to get rid of Parry so the mud throwing will continue.

Mate, he's not welcomed here. He's been vilified by Liverpool supporters, allegedly rightly. But what do we know in the end !?

I'm not siding with him, far from it. But in this case, either he's thick as **** or he's honest.

The only factual element we have here, is that Parry has been instrumental in bringing the americans here in the first place. Therefore he has to shoulder the blame for it, and take the full responsibility. I can't see him here in the long run.

If the reports that Rafa can't work with Parry any more, this speaks volume IMO.
