Nah not read them. What does he/she say? I have read UEFA's official response with regards to this matter and trust me, the final's taking place in Moscow unless the stadium decides to self-destruct.

First thing I wondered was what on earth could be going on in Brent that would take priority over a CL final? The market? Also don't think they could just apply a two-leg final at this stage.

        There's no way that'll happen!

They can't just change everything like that from a one-off game to a two legged final. the logistics are also mind boggling! There's no way that Moscow would not want to hold the final after all the preperations that they'll have gone through, plus what about all the people who have already bought tickets for flights to Moscow (UEFA delegates, sponsors etc) .

There's no way this will happen
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It'll definitely go ahead in Moscow if for no other reason than there's no way Russia would lose face by admitting their country was ill-equipped to host such an occasion.

UEFA already shot down in flames moving the final from moscow. too much time/money and preparation put into the mosocw final to even consider moving it. they also spoke about the huge parade / show that has been planned for the supporters saying they wont need to cancel it as final wont move.

I know its probably bull but I think LFC vs Utd in particular would be a can of worms that they wouldnt be able to control - sadly there would be serious and I mean SERIOUS trouble if we played them - 100,000 mancs and scousers in the same city a few thousand miles away - i'm not having that - a recipe for a disaster and a game that wouldnt take place imo.

One good thing if the two-legged story was true is that Utd are designated through the draw as the 'home' team so we would have the second leg at home - unless they tinkered around again.

nothing anyone can do about it. if we beat chelsea (sorry, when we beat chelsae) and if manure beat barca, we WILL meet in the final. i cant see there being that much trouble. russian police are nasty *******s and wont take no ****. any trouble would be stamped out.

Us vs them over there will be a disaster no doubt about it. Not only that but the fact we will all be going from the same airports!?

I've been worries about a Liverpool v Man U final in Moscow for some time. It has a bad feel about it.

But the thing that really makes me disbelieve this story is that it infers that some-one is actually in charge at Liverpool.

                          I really don't believe that.
                          Really?

Quite agree, UEFA could be looking into a plan B but surely it would be a logistical nightmare.

A 1-legged final would make more sense and the Millenium stadium is easily the best venue IMO

No matter how well equipped the police are, there is no way the police can stamp out the inevitable violence there will be.

They may be good enough to stop large scale violence outside the ground and in the main areas where the fans will congregate, but it isn't that which worries me.

People will be in the same hotels and fights will break out, in bars around the city fights will break out, in the back streets, fights will break out! Basically the police can't be everywhere.

Although it seems unrealistic because there is hardly any time to plan this, but the only way which violence could be avoided, would be when buying a ticket from the club.... you buy a flight also. This of course would cost a hell of a lot more, and still doesn't solve the hotel situation but at least there would not be rioting on the planes, which is potentially the most dangerous thing about this final.
