I can't stand the guy for the way he has conducted himself and for his part of the way our club's image has been tarnished spectacularly over the past 12 months, however I think we may get used to the idea that he's going to be around for a while as he seems hell bent on staying and taking over fully - beyond the posturing stage now I fear
At a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly

Yes ... but he will still have needed Parry to do his job while he was still in the role. Just because you want to get rid of someone, doesn't mean you stop them doing their job.

tom hicks is a grade a cunt
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Parry hits back at Reds co-owner

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has quickly hit back at Tom Hicks' claims that his tenure at Anfield has been "a disaster".

Reds co-owner Hicks, who revealed that Parry had taken part in the meeting with Jurgen Klinsmann that undermined current boss Rafa Benitez, blamed him for Liverpool's failure to compete commercially with their Premier League rivals in a Sky Sports News interview.

"Look at what's happened under Rick. It has been a disaster," claimed Hicks.

"We have fallen so far behind the other leading clubs.

"We should have the stadium built by now. We have a few major sponsors when we should have 15.

"Rick needs to resign from Liverpool FC. He has put his heart into it but it is time for a change. "

But Parry told Radio Four's Today programme: "It's for the board to ask me to resign and they haven't. I'm accountable to the board and this is not something the board has discussed with me.

"I have a duty at the moment to try and keep things on an even keel when there's turmoil off the pitch. I just want to do my best for the club.

"I'm focusing on the day to day. We have a Champions League semi-final coming up. There are a lot of important things to be done at the club and that's the focus.''

Parry again expressed his disappointment that the club's "dirty linen'' was being washed in public, adding: "There's a Liverpool way, which I think I understand and will stick to, and there is clearly a different way.''
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I loved one line by a viewer on Sky Sports:

'Hicks should go and take Parry with him'

Parry's right. Sort all this **** once and for all behind closed doors.
