Because they are run by a whimsical bunch of spoilt brats that lack any real collective direction …. They simply ride the crest of the current popular movement without any thought of the future ramifications….

They will be demanding and petulant and will react quickly to public and press opinion …… they will do anything to remain popular with the masses ……

Their business methods are also cumbersome and outdated …… they will make statements of huge grandeur by attempting to purchase show pony players ……

They will not share Rafa’s vision of developing a strong youth system to blood players for the first team …… this is Rafa’s vision, which Tom has bought into ….. This is what Tom is talking about when he says that DIC don’t share his vision.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet...

but did anyone else pick up on the fact that Hicks said he was putting together a bid to buy GG out but said he can't make GG accept it SO does that mean he can't match DIC's bid so GG doesn't have to accept the deal and insted he can do a deal with DIC once the 90 days are up...

'The Liverpool Way' hasn't produced a Premiership and has left us lagging behing Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U in every single area of football except for winning the Champions League.
'The Liverpool Way' allows Parry to stay in a job, do nothing, be accountable to no-one while we get further behind.

I'm not pro Hicks but I want us competing on and off the field, at the moment and for the last 10 years Hick's is right - we haven't.
Let's not hide behind 'The Liverpool Way' and hold it up as some cloak of invincibility (a bit like BatFink's wings of steel)

All Parry has said is "I've got important things to work on behind the sceens" he hasn't denied any of the accusation, hasn't defended his record.

I want us challenging for the Premiership every season and I want our revenue streams and sponsorship to increase allowing us to build the stadium and sign the players Rafa wants, if that means doing a deal with the devil then what are our other options?

                    Strategy

Step 1 Say nothing – as advised by those who should know/

Step 2 ….. communicate with the press to get information

Step 3 …. Communicate and reason with fan groups

Step 4 …. Influence and control over media, aggressive purchase of bogs and forums to contain and re direct

Step 5 …. Common touch and contact

Step 6 …… controversial comments leaked

Last resort ….. Lady Diana style interview

                    Resolution

Like I said, Parry has been crap for a long time. However, I'm not going to fall for Hick's 'I'm going to get rid of Parry so I'm the good guy' trick. If Parry goes then Gillett and Moores won't have a majority on the Board and Hicks gets more power. That's the only reason for his campaign against Parry. If he was that crap he could have ditched him in the Summer. We'd known for 9 years that Parry was rubbish and that we were well behind the Mancs etc.

But he decides to wait and play on the fans with his crap. I want Parry out, but I want Hicks out first. Simple as that. For that to happen Parry has to stay first and I hope he does. We've been behind off the pitch for many years, a few more months won't make a difference

If anyone is stupid enough to believe the swine & his slimey lies then more FOOL them.

No he said "Me and Ian Ayre talk ****", but Sky edited it to say 'Ian Ayre talks Scouse'. Cos we all know how much Sky love Liverpool!

But it isn't forcing the issue to a resolution. All we have is boardmembers and executives slagging each other off, and fans jumping down the throats of each other, taking sides.

For example, people are now beginning to say, on Hick's words, that Parry is allied with Gillett, and he is allied with Rafa, and that Hicks wanted Parry out six months ago. However, this to me is spin, because we already know at that time Hicks was leading the charge telling Rafa to pipe down and leave the management to Rick in public.

George seems to be getting a bad rep with some fans, because he is keeping quiet. Isn't that what we regard as the 'Liverpool way'. I don't know who is right, but Hick's using the media, and apparently trying to re-write history, puts me off him completely.

Every time I read another comment from him, the line from John Barnes comes to mind "always yapping".

As other posters have said, Why is he so keen to get LFC debt free, apart from working capital when leveraged deals have been his way of working since the 80's. Why would he change his intention with Liverpool, or is it just part of the charm offensive.
