Possibly but you would imagine he would know better than us the terms of any agreements between himself and Gillet.

'The Liverpool Way' allows Parry to stay in a job, do nothing, be accountable to no-one while we get further behind.

I'm not pro Hicks but I want us competing on and off the field, at the moment and for the last 10 years Hick's is right - we haven't.
Let's not hide behind 'The Liverpool Way' and hold it up as some cloak of invincibility (a bit like BatFink's wings of steel)

All Parry has said is "I've got important things to work on behind the sceens" he hasn't denied any of the accusation, hasn't defended his record.

I want us challenging for the Premiership every season and I want our revenue streams and sponsorship to increase allowing us to build the stadium and sign the players Rafa wants, if that means doing a deal with the devil then what are our other options?

Fredo, do you think Rafa is bigger than LFC?

Personally I'm not bothered which owner Rafa is happy with. It's about which owner is right for Liverpool (not necesarrily the one who gets on with the manager the most), and it ain't Hicks!

First time I've ever heard that whoever the manager wants as owner is the best solution.

On a different note, if Gerrard and Carragher said they hate Hicks and want him out but Rafa said he loves Hicks and thinks he should be sole owner, what would you say?

As far as screwing the club go's, this is the point, i'm not thinking of Lfc in 5yrs, i';m not even thinking of LFC in 10 yrs, my worry is Hicks, with the massive debt he will pile on us will SCREW UP the club for the next 50yrs or longer, maybe even screw the club for ever,

Stability is what we should all aim at ! Rafa's started something and this needs to continue in order to progress. Instability will mean whoever comes to replace Hicks and want implements wholesale changes particularly on the managerial side is a no go for me.

Surely the point is that Rafa clearly wants much the same things as we do as fans in that he wants money to build the team, a new stadium to guarentee this long term and stability to continue our improvement at youth level etc. Unlike us Rafa has more knowledge of the plans of those involved (more than any of the players too).

If someone wants Rafa to remain manager and feels his vision fo rthe club is the right one surely it is natural for them to assume that as he is closer to the situation then he is the best witness we have. That doesn't imply believing he is bigger than the club at all.

I wonder how much working capital that he will put as debt against the club?

                  That could really mean anything.

So debt free but in reality not debt free.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

What amazes me is that you believe Hicks would keep his word, in keeping Rafa, that you dont suspect this is infact designed to make him popular with fans.

We have all seen how he dealt with Rafa, at a time when him & GG were still buddies, don't expect him to be suddenly different if he had TOTAL control.

Rafa is just a tool that Hicks is using to try & get control. IMO.

Yes. No loans or anything My house and care is paid for and so on.

I know that it's sometimes better to have some debt for financial reasons but I like it that way.

                                You're very fortunate.
