With relations between Parry and Rafa strained what's to say if Hicks doesn't get his way that Rafa wont walk or even worse be sacked.

Hicks is a cunt but we have another cunt who currently owns 50% of our club.
One cunt is being open about the situation, is making attempts to get the fans onside (never going to happen imo, but at least he is showing willing) is talking the talk (lets see if he walks the walk if it gets that far), is not hiding away behind closed doors (not the liverpool way...that way is dead, i'm afraid, and really, over the past 19 years, it's seen us fall far behind financially and on the pitch) and is seemingly intent on making us a force to be reckoned with (talk is cheap).

The other cunt is sat there, saying nothing, not denying any allegations made, just wanting to take his money and run....and believe me, if Hicks makes him the offer, he'll go (he has no loyalty to the club, and it would be finiancial suicide for him to refuse an offer from Hicks if Hicks has ultimate veto on who he sells too).

Which cunt would i side with? Sadly, the brash Texan one, cos much as we all seem to hate him, tis better to be owned by one cunt, than divided between two. Works in marriage as well as business.

So far, the list of lies I asked for consists of not putting debt on the club, and we don't even know that was his decision. Has anyone got a more exhaustive list of Hicks' evil lies?

Where are the excuses ?? I just want us to calm down that's all, as we're gonna have to support him for a while.

Oh I agree mate however we must not lose sight in the fact that both these cunts need to go not just one.

The Liverpool way isn't dead mate.

The Liverpool way is not to wash your dirty linen in public which is exactly what Hicks is doing.

Both these yanks told us they wouldn't sadle us with debt yet they have, Hicks said the spade would be in the ground for the new stadium within 60 days yet 18 months down the line **** all has happened. They have both gone behind Rafa's back, they have made our club a laughing stock.

They both need to **** off.

Doing business behind closed doors is all well and good, but if the situation reaches a deadlock, what then...both parties walk away and nothing gets resolved. Bringing the issue into the open means that it becomes public knowledge and the situation comes to a head, and ultimately a speedier, if not messier, resolution is reached.

Hicks said in his interview in the times that he would not subsidise a 50-50 partner. I personally think this is a reference to the way the loan issue was handled. GG cannot afford to do it one way, so Hicks either caters for GG share and stumps up cash for them both, or agrees to do it on GG terms and put it against the Kop Holdings.

Also in the Times interview, Hicks states that it is Gillett who has held up progress on the stadium.

I await to see how GG responds to these allegations...if he doesn't refute them then i will assume them to be true.

He's behind the whole 'man landing on the moon' thing

You can see the studio lights people!!!

Seriously though, having seen it now and digested the whole thing, I don't think there is too much there to be surprised about. The man is a serious (and successful) businessman. Football's transition into a business is a difficult one to take for ordinary fans like us (especially fans of our club, which is undoubtedly unique) but it is happening.

He obviously isn't scared of anything. Short of us lot turning up outside that home cinema of his (complete with bleary eyed kids shouting 'good hussle Javier!' or 'DE-FENCE DE-FENCE Sami!!!') holding flaming torches and demanding his head, he's not going to go away.

He's going to be the one winner in the battle with Gillett. He'll make some massive gesture soon, be it offering Rafa a new contract or personally stumping up the cash for a world-class player. He's on a PR rampage, trying to win back the fans.

He's never going to win back the majority, no matter how often he says 'that won't please Everton!' in an obviously spontanious moment , (how funny was that!!!) but he is going to stick around.

I'm afraid we're just going to have to get used to it.
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

If they are true, i will say well done, because it is the only way to force Hicks out. Stop his plans in their tracks, he suffers, banks wont borrow, he has to SELL. From what i've read on here the last few months i thought everyone realised this, everything he tries to do must be stopped, he wants profit, he will be forced to sell eventually.

When he is forced to sell, it will be to DIC. is this not what we want.

I would agree with your first paragraph however Hicks has done ALL his talking in the press since he has been co-owner of LFC. He's done everything in the public eye he doesn't seem to do anything behind closed doors.

You are clearly more trust worthy than me and a lot of people. The pair of them have lied through their teeth since they have been at Liverpool and I'm sorry everything they say I take with a huge pinch of salt. I don't believe Hicks and I don't believe Gillett everything they do and say has an agenda IMO and their agenda is for personal gain not the good of the club.

                          I disagree.

Why now? Why go on TV and do that interview now? I think there is an agenda behind it. Why not wait until the end of the season and then do it? It doesn't add up to me.

Sky seem to think that Hicks has until the end of May to match DIC's bid. I think he is desperate for fan support because he knows he can't raise the funds needed.

Yes they are both as bad as each other, imo the only reason for GG to exist at present is to stop Hicks getting his shares, & to help DIC find a way in. Then they can both piss off & never ever be seen or heard of again.

Banks will always lend money, they are in a win-win situation in this regard...either they get their payment, or the pair default on the repayments and they get there money from the club itself.

I think Hicks will stick it out, with or without Gillett. If Gillett sticks around, he risks having to put more money in to a club that he doesn't want to be a part of, and not getting it back. In 16 months. At the end of the current loan deal.

Hicks does NOT have to sell. Gillett DOES. And if Hicks vetos his sale to DIC, and it appears that he has ultimate veto, then Gillett can either sit and suffer, or take the money and run...which do you think he'll do, seeing as he is a business man at heart?

Now, next week, the summer, I don't think it matters when he talks to be honest.

Agree with you about the fans thing. Judging by the Sky e-mails (the majority of the ones they are reading anyway) he might just be beginning to turn it around too.
