The Case FOR Hicks

ok. trying to be a neutral on this till it is sorted but i cant help compare this to the glazers buying the scum. they put 800million onto the wancs and yet they can repay the loan and still afford to pay a fortune for players. i still understand that everything has been lied about but surely the best option we have now is for hicks to buy the club outright, get his people in who would be able to maximise the commercial revenues and then, one day, have the right levels of communication and someone who gets a job done which would allow us to move fast when looking at targets.

But I'm not falling for the PR. I've not changed my opinion suddenly - this is how I've felt the whole time. None of us know the full facts, or who is and isn't lying.

There are two alternatives for me:

Either continue the mud slinging and destabilize the club further OR

Opt for some stability by allowing Hicks to gain full control of the club and AT LAST let him prove his critics wrong.

You'll have to agree with me now that he won't back away easily. He's stuck to us and still continues to do say by wanting to have full ownership.

By saying that, I'm not saying that he will be good for the club. Of that I haven't got a clue. But I'm not gonna say that a leverage isn't gonna be good for us because it seems it's been the norm for other clubs too. I bet DIC would do the same thing. They aren't gonna inject £ 450m of their reserves isn't it !?

You don't know how it will end up if he has sole control of the club. The Mancs hated it when Glazers took over (and saddled the club with debt), and now look where they are.

So what if they had a 10 year exit plan? Better than a 1 year 'lets load the club with debt and not put any of our own money in' plan

And I haven't defended Hicks, I'm just not willing to spit blood and attack him either.
