What he has said about Parry is bang on the money. Coco does need to hang up his ties and leave the club. If Rafa can't work with him then for the good of the club he needs to resign.

I can't however trust anything that fat texan ****** has to say. He lost my trust a long time ago and he could never win it back. It will be interesting to see if the other yankie cunt comes out and responds.

I just get the feeling however that if Hicks wins this power struggle then Rafa may stay however if DIC or Gillett win then Rafa will be out on his ear.

I feel the same. For me, Rafa has had enough of this. All that he wants is stability and the needed platform to carry on his job.

Let's suppose he does have good intentions and really does want to turn it all around. He is still giving an in-depth interview to Sky ****ing Sports during Hillsborough anniversary week.
Spot on. He either has no clue about what's important to the club, or doesnt give a monkey's...or both.

Public spats, outspoken bullish tactics, enormous debt on the club and now this, the day after the anniversary of Hillsborough. All that's left is his double-page exclusive with the s*n

He doesnt give a ****e about what the club holds dear and all this stuff now is a desperate attempt to create some positive PR and get people on side.

As i've said before, anyone can SAY the right things, but i dont believe a word he says because, despite his 'i am innocent' speeches, he CONTINUES doing the wrong thing - the latest of which being his interview with SSN the day after the Hillsborough service...which i notice, he made no attempts to attend, nor did he make any comments about the anniversary.

He's full of talk and very little else. "I'll fix it, i'll fix that"...f*ck talking about it and just get the f*ck on with actually DOING it. Til then, it's all empty talk.

But if Rafa and Hicks stay will Rafa be able to stop him running rough shot? To all those who say he has no reason to **** us over, he probably doesn't. But he made these same noises at the last club he had a stake in. Said the same things about new players and stadium...but then went and sold the players, no stadium was built and he sold out.

You don't see Sky asking him about that do you?!

I'm sure he had no reason to do Corinthians over...but he still did

He ain't a successful businessman for 35 years like he claims. He's a useless one

I agree however I also think that Gillett and Parry dislike Rafa and want him out. Hicks may feel the same but to try and get on the side of the fans he is showing support to Rafa.

It seems the only people that love Rafa is our the fans and we need to show our support.

This is a quote taken from an Interview Hicks did to appease to Texas Rangers fans.

But the hard bargain being driven by Hicks is illustrated in a video interview with the Major League Baseball (MLB) website which deals with the fears expressed by fans of his Texas Rangers baseball and Dallas Stars ice hockey franchises, that the £218m American Anfield takeover last February would damage their own clubs.

"People are worried that I might take money away from the [Texas] Rangers [Hicks' baseball franchise] to go to Liverpool,"
              Hicks said.

" But it is just the reverse.

Liverpool is going to throw off lots of extra money which, if I choose to,

I can use for the Rangers or the [Dallas] Stars [ice hockey team]."

The interview was broadcast six months ago and Hicks' words were clearly aimed at pacifying American fans, but they will dismay Liverpool supporters, who turned out in numbers last night to voice distaste for the Americans, who seem almost certain to restructure their debt through a new £350m arrangement before any deal with DIC.

Do you think he cares about popularity (other than to make it easier for him to go about his business)?

I dont. If he cared about popularity, he'd have sold up and walked away with £40m in profit for a year's 'work'...

The point is, it's all talk, always talk, he says the right things, but there's no evidence of any actual action.

In the 14 months or so he's been at the helm, what has he actually DONE that's been positive? Aside from all the lies, Klinsmann nonsense, consistently poorly timed press releases to coincide with crucial/sensitive times and the public debacle he's turned the club into, has he done anything that's actually POSITIVE?

Maybe it's a case of the 'cultural' differences between how we do things here and there ... And he was never a fan of the club and probably doesn't give a **** about how most of us view things about Hillsborough right now!? I mean, if you haven't really lived through this catastrophe, it's difficult to understand the hatred against that rag etc ... It's not as clear cut as you make it out.

I don't hold him in my heart either, but I'm sick of this and I'm allowed to bear the sight of him in charge for the foreseeable future just to see some stability brought back to this club.

If you can afford to make the payments, yes.

Cultural differences? If that's the case, why isnt Randy Learner having public fights with his CEO and colleagues? Why isnt he tapping up other managers and telling the world and his dog about it? Why wasnt it Randy Learner who'd made promises to Corinthians and broke them all?

Nope, nothing to do with cultural differences, Hicks is a money-hungry cnut who'll do anything to get what he wants. As for Hillsborough, i dont expect him to feel it like we do, but the least he could've done was his homework and made some kind of comment about the anniversary. Even Ian Cotton would've been capable of that.

As for being worth 1 billion, that's what asset stripping can do for you.
