I know what you're saying- I mean everyone loves the battlers that wear theit love for the club on their sleeve. Players like Carra & my new favourite Monstermasher will always be big with the fans, but you have boxing, UFC & rugby for the real rough stuff.

Part of the reason our recent European success has made me love the club all the more is that it has been done more by sheer ****ing blood, sweat & tears than skill alone. Games like the semis vs the Chavs, the Gooners & Istanbul make me more proud than they would had we out-played those teams rather than beaten them through passion, power & sheer force of will.

So we are mostly in agreement, but I am still pretty gay over Torres.
    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

          I reiterate the quotation:

“You need to look for Bosman players. Sometimes you need to do it quickly and go for cheap players. We were doing this movement. Is the new signing a Bosman? Could be a free transfer, could be a cheap signing.”

If a player buy out his contract then he will be a free transfer player, another possibility.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

We'd have to subsidise that tho I expect, but it is a thought.

I would say if it is the case then the player would have to be a late bloomer such that buying out his contract would still make him a cheap option (am I right in saying the rules don't apply to young players anyway). I would expect young signings but I would love to see an experienced attacking midfielder, or even forward bought in.

Didn't Rafa say they spoke good English but weren't English? Also did he not say it was a cheap player - two categories that Barry doesn't fit into.

Have a look for yourself. Was it a bit of tounge and cheek from Rafa?
