No, not in itself, but them being there last night has the sense (to me anyway) of DIC being in the predatory position, hovering above Hicks waiting to pounce. Or like AFII says, perhaps it is indicative of a deal between them and Gillett having been struck in principle. Either way, DIC were there for their own ends no doubt.

This is interesting and if correct the clearest indication yet of the direction things might be going. DIC in for the long term. Hicks in for the short term as majority shareholder and further evidence of how Staveley is playing a smarter PR game.

Article claims Staveley was brought in to assess what had gone wrong with the original DIC bid. A question a lot fans are still asking.

If there's a peace deal between DIC and Hicks I imagine Parry will be the first sacrifical offering.
