Actually, speaking of offsides...Babel could have been judged offside when we scored. The ball was played towards him and Kuyt, when Babel was in an offside position. First, babel appeared to rule himself out of play, but then he turned and went towards the ball as well... a cunt could have given offside there.

If standing in the box almost getting in the way of a defender getting to our player isn't "interfering with play" then I don't know what is.

To be fair though, they're never given as off....(and obviously I'll take the goal !)

It can, but then it would be either a goal, or a goal kick. OR a new corner if it touched an opposing player on the way.

Can't be offside directly from a goal kick either, which i never realised before.

And you also can't score an own goal direct from a corner either, although it's be a bloody weird corner if that situation ever arose!
