with skrtel looking extremely solid ...and carragher the obvious first choice in the middle.what do you think?? transfer speculation is kinda leaning towards us purchasing a rightback...and its no secret rafa has always wanted to bolster that position since the alves saga.so will agger play on the left next season?

Agger is no LB. He's a CH and that is where he should be played. Skrtel is primarily in competition w/Carra and Hyypia w/Agger. Agger should play ALL home games as his attacking instincts give us an edge.Originally posted by flyboy View PostThe Crushing Machine MKII -

yup barry would make sense at leftback instead of this talk of him replacing alonso in the middle. anyways its a good problem to have...4 quality CB's . insua well ...it looks the the league and FA cup for him. our signing from here on should be of quality.the bar has been set so no more basement bargain buys i think. No No No. You cant expect 2 centre backs to play all 55-60 games. Just daft. You often play 2 games a week so you need 3 centre backs. They will rotate and will be rested accordinglyComment

id like to see Agger Skrtel Carra as a back three
with Insua and a Rafinha type wingback offering us width, it would allows Babel and Kuyt to play more as wide strikers, and support Torres more.
