I think John Terry being on a yellow is significant, he won't be able to just foul his way through the game as he usually does, makes strong case for Crouch to play, particularly with Cech looking dodgy on cross' lately.

We got to make sure we get into wide areas before we can cross

Plenty of incentive for Torres to be stood near him all night, the only way Terry will ever get the better of Torres is to foul him

How far back do all the bookings go? is it through out the whole competition or just the knock out stage?
As I didn't think we'd had many players booked in knockout stage
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
I have a horrible feeling that one of Gerrard or Carra will be booked tomorrow night and miss the final if we get there.
Fingers crossed it doesn't happen though.
At least one of them will miss it. Who will be the biggest loss depends on who we meet IMO. Gerrard is usually poor vs the Scum, if he can`t play Rafa will have to think differently and that might surprise Ferguson. Hyypia will do fine against Barca, so if Carra misses that one it`s not a disaster.
The best would be if none of them misses a final, but that`s unlikely IMO.
The worry is Carragher who is up against the cheating diving Drogba.

I think if Carra plays right back he's less likely to get a yellow, and like you said Terry with a yellow is important as he will be a little less likely to smake Torres in the back of the head everytime he comes near him

Don't worry when we are 3-0 up Rafa will drag them with half an hour to go!
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."
