Working in an office of 8 people

All of them want Liverpool to go out tonight. Can't imagine the stick I'm going to get tomorrow if we don't make it through. They were all eager for Arsenal to win tonight. Don't understand where this hate comes from. Granted one is a Bitter (keep telling him it's the first time I've ever come across an Everton fan), the others are fans of crap lower division teams

Strangely I'm now up for this game. Read Gerrard's comments this morning and I think we can do it. And as for the Mancs in the final, at least it won't be an English ref so it could be one less thing against us.

    ****ing Come on!!!!!!

That's what I am hoping mate. Even after we beat Arsenal I kept quiet...I'm waiting for the big one. Now it doesn't come any bigger than winning number 6 against the Mancs

          Some strange folk about.

I work with a lot of Manc match-goers and most are undecided about who they want through tonight. Amazing really. They go from dreading playing us to thinking they have a better chance of beating us than Chelsea, who are a bit of a bogey for them.

Probably the most passionate of the lot, however, is a rare diamond geezer who respects us and wants us to beat Chelsea.

“They’re a set of plastic jokers and you are a proper club – I want the final to be the biggest game ever and it wouldn’t be that if you go out tonight.”

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I'm surrounded by Mancs in my work too. Not a word was said about their defeat at Chelsea on Monday morning, but today they are full of it. They crow if they win and they crow if we lose. I prefer to keep a dignified silence - nothing has been won yet. And by the way, these are fully grown men in their 40s and 50s acting like big kids.

That's how it should be. I hate the hatred (no pun) as it does my head in. Prefer a lot of banter then shake hands at the end and move on. It's a sport in the end.

I know of no Chelsea fans. I know plenty of Scum fans, I would love it if we beat them but I doubt that would be the result.

There's one Scum fan, probably one of my closest friends, he isn't your typical Scum fan, gloating when winning, silence when losing. He is very realistic and very respectable of Liverpool. He claims Old Trafford is no where near the atmosphere of Anfield and he understands the passion and history of Liverpool because its a proper club with proper values.

One of my best mates is like that too.

It's just the rest of them who are unbearable.

There are only two of us in my office and the other guy is a Chelsea fan.

Thankfully, he is ok and we actually manage to have pretty decent football chat.

the bar man in the local is a chelsea fan... so after tonight i will either be barred or barred
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
