    Torres' Armband

We all know what Senior Torres' armband once said, and love bouncing away to that happy recollection, but does anyone else envisage a future armband - one that says Captain..?

Obviously he has the experience from Atletico, but the more I see of the guy the more I'm impressed with his overall proffessionalism and sensibility. Seems to me a natural leader, much in the same mould of our very own Stevie G, who picks games up by the scruff of the neck and drags the team forward whether they like it or not..!

Maybe then the comparisons between him and a certain King Kenny would go beyond sheer brilliance with a ball, to complete player with the talent and drive to bring the title back on a regular basis.
His armband proved he was a RED. Torres, Torres.

No, Stevie can be captain for the next 6-7 years, don't wont to burden Torres too much.
    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

****, no I wasn't trying to take the armband off Stevie, far from it... but should anything change in the interim he'd get my vote..!

        I'd make Masher the skipper.

Mascher needs to keep his head if he wants to be the captain.

Carra should be the skipper for me anyway.

Not sure about strikers as captains - they don't see as much of the game as the other players. Ideally, Carra will get a chance if it's ever taken off Stevie, followed by the Mascher.

Next Captain for me would be Agger, without a doubt.

Mascher would be an ideal captain for me. I know he lost the plot at Utd but Gerrard has been sent off a few times when he could have avoided it.

No point making Carra captain now, he'll play less and less over the next few years. Agger has a gob on him, seems an intelligent player, so a possibility. Not sure about Mascher yet, can he communicate well enough? Kuyt?

Making Carragher wouldn't change the way he plays, acts, behaves on the pitch though. He would just be the same.

If you gave it to Masher, Reina or Torres I think it would improve them as a man, footballer, leader.

Agger all the way, just needs to keep injury free and he'll be golden!

Mascherano is an obvious leader of men.
