Next Captain for me would be Agger, without a doubt.

Its been so long since I have watched him play I cant remember his leadership skills. From memory it was always Carra barking the orders and holding the line. Not saying he wouldnt be a good choice, I just havent seen enough evidence of it yet.
For me it would have to be Carra if Steve left in the summer, then a choice between Masch or Torres.

This was kinda my point, but admittedly I over-looked the immense force of Mascha..! I do think Torres has the credentials tho, just not yet...
