Rafa has consistently proved he is incapable of sending a team out to attack and put pressure on a top side.

Think of the last 2 games agaisnt chelsea when we have been at home, chelsea have forced the game and dominated even though we came out on top.

Where's babel? Shocking shocking decision by Rafa to leave him out if he's not injured. You CAN'T play that formation away from home without pace on either flank.

Reina needs to work on his positioning. He doesn't cover his near post, a basic of goalkeeping.

Tell you what i really hope the Sheik buys us in the summer which is looking possible becuase we need 2 world class wingers and another striker to play off torres. TBH i could see the goal coming as pepe looks like he is doing a united. Punching balls out and not covering his near post. Gerrard needs to step up. I think we are out TBH as we never get anything there and we have never scored here under rafa.

This isn't working. Not today, not in this rain, our passing is atrocious and it isn't going to get better. Skrtel's injury really killed us, because it meant us going 10 yards back.

We need Crouch on the pitch and go route 1 football. There is no choice. Take off Alonso and start pushing them in their half. We're not going to suddenly have width, we're not going to have a passing game. We need to Boltonize this match or we're screwed.

The players yet again choke at the big occasion. Cometh the big teams at their place and we can't threaten or control the game. Gerrard has probably had as many touches as the fingers on one hand, Alonso has been poor.

I don't expect us to go through. Expect a hard shift from the Chelsea defence, they'll allow us to have the ball like we did for a brief spell before the end and they will try and break down our extremely slow defence.
