You have yet to recieve an answer as it has nothing whatsoever to do with my point.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostI asked what was Rafa's fault in the 2nd goal. I have yet to receive an answer.
If you want an answer, he had nothing to do with the second goal. Now why did you ask that again

I agree with Nic. Rafa's attack on Drogba backfired big time tonight.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostYou make no sense. Like Drogba needed motivation.
He took Torres off after the 2nd goal.
He apparently had rafa's picture stuck above his locker in the dressing room.
He was **** at Anfield, a man possessed tonight.
Coincidence?A humble guy with healthy desire.

And if it was aimed at the ref it didn't work either.Originally posted by The Erectile Banana View PostI agree with Nic. Rafa's attack on Drogba backfired big time tonight.

Not really. Skrtel's injury ****ed us. He has the pace to handle him. An ageing Hyppia hasn't.Originally posted by The Erectile Banana View PostI agree with Nic. Rafa's attack on Drogba backfired big time tonight.

I'll be a fan of unexplained earthquakes with enormous gaping chasms in Russian football stadia that are playing host to English football clubs.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostWell guys are we all Chelsea fans come what May?

can't see the point of his prematch antics in regards to DD. As regards the ref, yes by all mean as it could only benefit us but to give extra motivation to Drogba beggars belief. He was straight over to Benitez to rub it in after his first.
Anyways, positive are that next year if we make a quality signing for kuyt's position, we should give the league a good go with Babel going to be a superstar next year. As long as Rafa doesn't bench them that is.

Good battling performance. They had the better of the first half, we had the better of the second. Same went for extra time too. We just didn't have that bit of luck/composure when it mattered - hyppia's pen decisions at each end, Kuyt's half chance from the free kick etc.
It was always going to be tough to go there and win it, and we came close. Let's hope they go on and smash the mancs in moscow, and that we sign one or two class players in the summer who might turn a few of our draws into wins in the league and close the gap.

Exactly, the game was changed on that peno. No-ones fault but poor control and decision making by Hyppia.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostHow was he at fault for the 2nd goal then?
Defence then let us down to let 3rd in while Chelsea were bubbling.
Just one of those things that hinged and changed on peno.
In terms of our semis with Chelsea, 2 outta 3 aint bad.
I ain't crying.
