    Injuries update ?

    I know there is only 2 games to go but does anyone know the extent of the injuries to Torres and Skittles please?

    Rafa said Torres had a hamstring injury ? How bad ?

    Skittles ? Knee wasn't it ?

    Rafael Benitez has received a double injury boost ahead of Sunday's match at home to Manchester City after both Martin Skrtel and Fernando Torres took part in training today.
    The Reds boss was forced to replace Skrtel early in the first-half of Wednesday's Champions League clash at Chelsea after the Slovakian fell awkwardly in a clash with Didier Drogba, while Torres was also replaced after feeling a twinge in his hamstring during extra-time.

    Benitez also revealed that Harry Kewell was back in training after recovering from the groin strain he sustained on international duty last month.

    "Kewell was training today, which is positive," said Benitez.

    "Fernando was also training, Skrtel part of the training session and as you already knew, Agger and Fabio Aurelio are injured, so there is no bad news."

      doesn't matter really does it? The season is over, he might aswell play a youth team for the last few games for them to get some experience. Personally i'd like to see Nemeth get a game

          No you are right. It doesn't really matter as we have 4th spot sewn up but there are still 6 points on offer and in the past few seasons we have given points away at this time of the year as we rest players for important CL matches.

          I hope to see some youngsters given a go but I don't expect Rafa to throw points away either.

          Maybe Nemeth, Plesis and Insua could figure

            i'd like to see nemeth have a game next to torres,in a straight forward 442 line up.
