    May I add that the overrated portuguese ****** has around 180 attempts on goal for his 30 league goals, a number that quite frankly put frank lampard to shame. Torres on the other hand, has only 90.

          Surely its 32 goals from open play in all comps? He hasn't taken a pen or free kick in any competition.

            He's got a few from corners/indirectly from free kicks, I don't think they're counting those as open play.
