But this is exactly the partnership between Liverpool FC in the English Premier League and the Carlsberg breweries. The parties signed their first agreement in 1992, which has been extended several times since. Most recently during the spring of 2007 and the present agreement runs until 2010.

while i think no advertising in theory works well, and i like the idea. On these shirts it looks wrong. The shirts look so blank.

Agree. I purchased a sponsor-free shirt and it is quite nice but just does not look right without the sponsor logo. The novelty soon wears off.

I am off to buy a proper shirt later today.

I agree when looking at a single shirt, that's the opinion i have, but the above picture of the team looks good to me, somehow all the Carlsless shirts together in a team pic seem less cluttered somehow, clean.

Thanks. I had it in my head that we had only signed a 3 year agreement after Instanbul and that it might be close to the end.

It looks good on the players but I don't think I would buy it because it isn't the kit that we wear on matchdays if that makes sense.

I would prefer our kit not to have a sponsor but its hard because of finances. Barcelona's kit looked better without a sponsor although with a charity on the front there's no reason for the fans to argue.
