Kuyt and Bellamy again, thats a supprise.
Pretty strong team though when you look at it. Good to see Riise back in the team, Would have a slight concern about Carra being dropped.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Love Kuyt and Bellamy up front again. Strikers need a run of games and these two could rip spurs apart today. Midfiled is good, let's hope Speedy puts in a good performance. A little nervous about Agger and Hyppia starting together....our defence is being chopped and changed a little too much for my liking.

Unfashionable as it may be, I thought we might see Finnan rested for this one and Paletta playing at RB. Wonder when Finnan will get his rest?
Luck - the only substitute for skill

I don't think we can afford to rest him. Apart from Carra there isn't anyone else I would feel comfortable about playing right back. Paletta is a centre back and that's where he should play when he gets his chance.

Was kinda hoping to see Kuty and Bellamy against Galatasaray.
Would be supprised to see them starting against them now. But the way Rafa is going lately, you never know, I bet Crouch and Robbie are feeling very hard done by at the moment.

Interesting one, glad to see Riise back, Gonzales playing means Stevie G goes back on the right which is good, as is Kuyt and Bellamy getting a further chance to develop an understanding.

Disappointed Luis is dropped after the Newcastle performance.

Can't understand why carra was dropped! The Spurs attack doesn't necessitate it either - plain bizarre.

                        Hope Speedy can deliver.

Agree about the concern you have, but I remember Rafa saying Paletta had played there and was cover (just after JK had left). Amazing how Finnan doesn't need a rest when everyone else does, isn't it?

Why would Robbie. He's been poor and isn't in the same class as Kuyt and Bellamy.

He'll get games, just not in as big as this, well not yet anyway.

Stevie was on the right against Newcastle - for the majority anyway!
