you're right crouch will never be a lead striker in a premiership winning team. but at least he's a premiership level striker unlike voronin and kuyt who had far more chances than crouch did.

Relax buddy. Most of Rafa's signings have been complete mysteries and a fair few of them have turned out pretty well. Remember smokescreens and ignore the media until the players have signed.

I'm pretty optimistic that he'll get a decent transfer budget this summer, the yanks have a massive amount to prove and will be trying very very hard to get the backing of the fans.

I love Rafa to bits but i am gutted that we have not made progress in the league under him. Now some will argue we have but the league doesn't lie we are 4th and the highest we have been under Rafa is 3rd. BTW The People is notorious for doing deals with agents/players. Looks to me like they've put this out to force us to put our price down. I can't see Crouchie buying out his contract, this is probably aimed at getting us to bring the price down to £9m-£12m, which I think we'd sell at.

Wenger the other day going on about Hleb, and saying its not as easy as it seems and it could take months, and bearing in mind crouch wants to play games it would be ironic to see him not playing a single minute for 6 mths why it all went through
