            John Barnes freekick against Arsenal and Jimmy Greaves doing the commentary. Curled it in a treat and thats before the modern day beach ball was around.

            Also one Barnes scored at home to QPR in his first season when we scored 4. Quality.

            One things that makes goals better in the past is the nets, red for a start and the ****ing ball stays in the damn net, none of this in and out bollocks of today.

              fowlers against villa for me, when he turned staunton and left him for dead before a lovely curled finish

              or his goal against brang bergan (i think) when he flicked it over his head with his heel and scored on the volley

              fowler = god

                  This was one of the best goals I ever saw. Unfortunately it wasn't covered by television (although the Daily Mirror devoted the next day's centrespread to it).

                  Molby v Man U, 1985, League cup match.

                    Only Jan Molby has the footage.

                    Its a shame he doesn't want to show it.

                            Always loved Fowlers double at Old Trafford too - left foot rocket in the top corner from a tight angle then a beautiful right footed chip over Schmiecal - Awesome!!

                              "Through me the way into the suffering city,
                              Through me the way to the eternal pain,
                              Through me the way that runs among the lost.
                              Justice urged on my high artificer;
                              My maker was divine authority,
                              The highest wisdom, and the primal love.
                              Before me nothing but eternal things were made,
                              And I endure eternally.
                              Abandon every hope, ye who enter here."

                                Not in terms of importance, but Fowler against Birmingham in the League Cup Final 2001.

                                I was sat behind the goal in a box amongst the Brum fans, me and my dad had somehow got the tickets from my uncle, and my celebrations of God's goal caused several Brummies to turn around and give the 'I'm gonna kill you' gesture. I was 15.

                                My son Foster is a fan of soccer. He was a goaltender. His brother was a defenseman.
