Really? That just shows that you really don't know anything about football whatsoever.

    Let me explain,

Rick Parry is a 50 something year old chief exec of a football club called Liverpool fc,who has no experience playing in top flight football at all.He wouldn't,through lack of experience, training, fitness, agility and age, physically be able to compete.

Pepe Reina is at 25, a top class goalkeeper, playing in goal for Liverpool FC,one of the top clubs in Europe. He is considered by most to be in the top 5 goalkeepers in the world who has recently been awarded a prize for yet again keeping the most clean sheets in the domestic league(namely the Premier League) his team,Liverpool FC,competes in.

You have no evidence to back up your theory that Rick Parry would be at the same level of performance as Pepe Reina.I have no evidence to back up the theory that they aren't apart from facts.

    I'll go with facts.

love this answer!! you did not mention that he not only had recently been awarded a prize but in fact it was the third successive season (and he has only been here for three seasons) that he has won this prize. Just in case he was not sure why the prize was awarded...he had the most clean sheets in the Premiership

Not that you care but your posts vary wildly from the intelligent to the utterly ridiculous... but then I'm sure you know that.

I do love the he won the golden glove award debate though. I once got a league winners medal in underage footy and was out all season with a broken leg. Didn't stop people from telling me what a great season I had though!

What on earth are you talking about??

Pepe has won the award 3 seasons in a row. You can't argue with that. If your trying to make the point that Cech has been prone to injuries then its a stupid point. Credit to Reina for being on of the fittest and best goalkeepers in the world.

The only keeper i would replace him with would be Casillas

                          Reina is a legend

No that's not the point I'm making and you also think Kuyt is a legend so I'll take that with a pinch of salt vster!!

The point I'm making is that award reflects the team rather than the individual. Peggy Arpexhead could take that award behind our defense and if he did would you all be raving about him?!!

So the point your (failing wildy at) making is that Reina doesn't deserve much of the credit for the clean sheets and it's much more to do with the team in front of him that his own performances?

                              If so it's utter bollocks.
