Sure according to you lot, Reina has **** all to do anyway. Bit of a contradiction then to say that this award is down to him.

Nic I have played in goals to a farily high level (in hockey)
However I didnt have as much natural ability as some other goalkeepers who i was viewed to be better than. The things i was good at where
Reading the game. - helping the defense and midfield to snuff out threats early
Being quick and agile. - could move to and get to the threat quickly.
communication - talking to defenders and giving them confidence that if they made a mistake i would be there quickly to snuff it out.
1-1 i was good if there was a 1-1 or at penalties.
I was crap at straight shot saving. but i didnt have as many shots to save cause i got the defense to deal with it or i could close the attacker down befoer he got his shot off.
wasnt great at kicking. which is important in hockey but again as i closed down early i would be closer to the sidelines to clear it than by staying on my line.
there is alot more to goalkeeping than Nick will acknowledge.
I once saw something about goal keepers on motd or soething and they watch loads of games and look at how a forward will shape his body or what decisions he will make etc.

"I once got a league winners medal in underage footy and was out all season with a broken leg. Didn't stop people from telling me what a great season I had though!"Originally posted by Nic83 View PostI havn't said that. Again, you read my post and see swahelic.

That implies you think he did **** all and noone else has even remotely suggested it.
It's Swahili actually mate and your posts make about as much sense to me."My commitment to Liverpool is 100 per cent. I would die for that Liverpool shirt. I think the club loves me and I feel the same, no matter what the situation." - Pepe Reina, Nov '09.

It's like talking to a feckin toddler.
You're analogy was that you got a medal even though you did nothing to aid the title victory and hence the golden glove award means nothing as Reina had a defence in front of him that meant he had nothing to do. Is this not correct airhead?
