Is this the first game for a while we have had inswingnig corners during games? I have seen quite a few outswingers recently and never thought we would threaten with them.
Quit your jibber jabber!!!
Jermaine, you know the song Billie Jean...is it about the tennis player??
Absolutely, thought his crossing really improved as the game went on and the corners were so much better, actually looked dangerous every time the ball came in. Impressed with the lad today.

i thought he was immense in the second half. Looked a threat everytime he got the ball, and put in some wicked crosses with pace.
he was anonomous in the first half though (then again half the team was aswell)
anyway great signs for Speedy and the future.

Speedy is great! His corners are spot on and he produces many many crosses for Kuyt and Bellamy. He should be given a run of 4-5 games and I'm sure he won't dissapoint!
He was great v. Tottenham!

I was sat in the pub on Saturday lunch time, and it was half time, I was thinking Gonzalez didn't seem to be having a good game - just didn't seem at the races at all, but he came out in the second half and put a much better display on. Always wanted the ball, his distribution was good, crossing was excellent, calmly taken goal (which was far, far harder than Bellamy's... ), and offered good pace on the wing.
Hopefully, as he gets further used to the pressure of the Premier league he'll improve further still!
And I also noticed he didn't know what to do when he scored his first premiership goal infront of the kop. He just ran and wave his arms out. And he did something with his fingers which reminded me of some heavy metal gesture Is Gonzalez a fan of Metallica?

Apparently he`s had virus ofr the start of the season, so that have slowed him down a bit.
i think we have a great player on our hands here. And he won`t play internationals so that`s another plus.
I was thinking Gonzalez didn't seem to be having a good game
Shirley that was because the team didn't use him while he stayed wide, and when he came inside it was all too congested because Gerrard wasn’t staying wide either. In the second half Rafa must have told both he and Gerrard to stay wide (until the subs appeared) and told the rest of the team to use Gonzales more.
During the first half I was frustrated with him coming inside to get the ball 'cos no one was passing to him while he was out wide; in retrospect I think it was a team problem not a player one.
