    or were they that good?

somehow I dont think any opposing team would get away with that under the current regime

One of the most embarrassing night's in this clubs history.

They were a very good team, but in that match, although they taught us a bit of a footballing lesson, we more than matched them for most of it, and we were on top for lots of it. It's once we fell behind that they showed their class. We were far from being out-classed for the duration of the game. I just think we badly missed Hamann (through suspension IIRC) on the night and the team lost its shape defensively as a result.

Wasn't that actually the season when barca was crap? Ended up as no11 or so in la liga?
          Could be wrong though.

Stop trying to be ****ing controversial

That Barca side were magnificent, although I actually like watching that video purely for the fact it was the first time a duck had ever been co-commentator.

Possibly. don't know to be honest. Didn't word it well but what I meant is they were great on the night, although we still more than matched them for most of the game.

Yeah, it was only a short lesson I think, too

It was a privilege to be there. Barca played some incredible football but by the same token we were poor. Should've had the game wrapped up.

                        Ditto.

Totally went to pieces after Kluivert scored. They were fantastic though, the whole ground applauded when that third went in.

Fowler to Frank de Boer: 'Can we have a kick of your ball mate?'
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

Yep, on our feet after the third goal.

Reina was on the bench for Barca that night, along with Rochemback and Geovanni.

Nice goal, but I lost count of the number of times Masher and Kuyt would have harrassed them into losing the ball or being tackled.

                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
