We need to understand that they win things for a reason. We think Brown is ****, Ferdinand and Rooeny overrated, no one rates Carrick and Ronaldo doesn't perform in the big games. Well why the **** do they win so often?Comment

Although I agree with him about Ferdinand (he's top class), Ferrrrrrrnando's posts have a very mild stench of Manccentricity about them...
Nothing to reach Speedy/Alan Key proportions, but still.....

I'm still on my own on here I see in thinking Rooney had a splendid season. His work rate and link between the deeper midfielders and the attack was key to United this season for me. He didn't get the goals but his contribution was immense in my opinion.
Sagna for Brown is a sound call though. I guess the defense was picked as a unit though and in that context then maybe the call was justified."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Whilst I think the lad is gifted I also think that he is overhyped and not a player that could command a 25m tranfer fee if he should ever be tempted to move

Rooney for me has had 2 average seasons now, UTD's success is down to their defense and Ronaldo. In fact they carry a lot of passengers for me just now with the likes of Giggs coming to the end of his career and the likes of Fletcher and Hargreaves, Carrick Anderson all being average. Wow! I agree, Rooney has been trading off his performances in the Euro's for a while now. There is no way he is a 30m player.
