    90 day deadline almost complete?

For once Hick's has gone relatively quiet. Even the papers have gone really quiet about any takeover deal. Who actually thinks this 90 day deadline exists and what is this admin error Mr Gillett is supposed to have made?

Mods don't bother thinking of merging this thread with the DIC one.

I think it does, a mate did mention the exact date to me, sometime in june from what I remember. But thing is, how long will it take DIC (or any other external buyer) to complete due dilligence, complete the signing and give Rafa the funds to buy who he wants?

it was around a few weeks ago that gillet had ****ed it up with a administration error so the 90 day thing was dead in the water.it was around the same time that all the stories stopped.but i could be wrong...

what scares me the most is the 2 people who created all of this mess in the 1st place are still gonna be at the club once the yanks go,parry and moores have alot to answer for and i truely hope dic oor whoever buys us dumps them out...

I`ve read that the dead-line thing is off as well. There were someone that mentioned that there might be a courtcase over it.
Since it`s all quiet now I have a feeling there is no date.
IMO it all comes down to Hicks getting money to buy the club before the credits gets him. If the financial situation improves in the US it`s going to be Hicks that ownes the club.

Far too quiet from all camps for nothing to be happening.

Not DIC anymore.Sheik Maktoum personally wants the club.Big difference imo.He usually gets what he wants.

Fatso has spoken on Torres today....about not selling him at any price & some bull**** about backing the manager with the buy, & not undermining him by selling Torres.

Not the words of an owner about to sell up. Not that we can believe a word he says.

The fact the day has arrived and no mention of it is good news. That 90 day clause will only be of use in the courts. If we do not hear anything my guess is talks are on . If so the next big piece of news will either be agreement and sale of 50% or 100%.

No agreement and it is off to court we go.

I wouldn't expect anything else tbh. He's trying to buy time.

As i said elsewhere, far too much water under the bridge for the Americans. The fans have been betrayed.Liverpool fans are very passionate.A passion that was very underestimated by them.Infact football fans as a whole are very passionate. They will never understand this.

Aye, if Hicks knew he was selling tomorrow he would still come out with **** like this, making us think he's staying, just to annoy us for one last day.

if this is true it is by far the best news i have heard at any point of this saga. DIC buying the club could potentially have lead to 'same ****, different owner' as they would have run us as a business. dont get me wrong it would have been better than the yanks but if the sheik himself wants to buy us it is a totally different proposition.

he recently paid about £300 million for a horse racing stable or whatever they are called in Ireland because he wanted it. there is far more chance of them being succesful in purchasing and us being able to compete financially if the sheik owns us and not DIC
                          in january we were doomed.

in august we will rise from the ashes of ****e and march on again
